The lizard on the wall heard the story of the boy with no lungs
Crawled into the hole and met the spider with seven tongues
Said I will tell you a secret therefore you should hear it but in your ear let it hide
Although, the lizard should have known that it's a spider with seven tongues Then with seven people the story will collide
Since now he spelled the words and relieved his stomach from their tones
It’s time to crawl back onto the wall and steal more stories to rattle the bones
Hush and shush are silent mutes, for a secret split in two is a secret no more
The boy with no lungs walks with fingers pointed at him
Because the reptile wanted fame by throwing his sickness out the door
The days passed and the tale moved along from mouth to mouth
The truth was disguised as something else ever since it left the house
The lizard enjoyed and the spider waited for news to come
Ear to ear the boy with no lungs became the kid from the sun
But the question that amazed the mind is who was about to pay
For the Boy’s suffering that was too enormous that day
When the lizard was out of gossip he became her food before his own eyes
And the spider died of food poisoning from the reptile’s pouring lies
No matter how many tales were told of the boy he remained the same
If only he could breath he would speak of his name
In years that felt like days the boy grew two golden lungs
While the depth of the earth held on to the souls
Of the lizard on the wall and the spider with seven tongues…
Beautiful, Cynthia! Thank you!! :)
